Some sender's emails dont synch to Outlook 2013 with Exchange ActiveSync.

I have Outlook 2013 (office 365) running on a Windows8 machine.  The account is configured to synchronize (download) messages with Hotmail.com

Most emails are synchronizing well both to the desktop and a Windows8 phone.  However, there are two senders that their emails get 'stuck' on Hotmail and are not synchronizing to either Outlook or the windows phone.  Emails from other senders from same organization/domain are coming through normally.

Any idea what could be the cause/solution?

Can try

Go to outlook.com . Login with hotmail id and go to Inbox>Options>Safe and blocked senders

Check blocked senders.

Any attachments in the emails ...if yes then the size of the attachment.

Did you try new outlook profile

I have tried new profile, same results.
I have received emails with larger attachments from other users so that could not be the case.

Can you request the two senders to send a test mail without any attachment and then try to sync.

I have sent myself few emails from another account:
1. without attachment - came through
2. With a JPG attachment - came through
3. With an outlook contact attachment - got 'stuck' in outlook.com (I can see it when I login online, but it does not synch to my desktop Outlook - same problem as the other two senders)

Do you have any firewall in you env. ...or try disabling all antivirus related addin in outlook and check.

Also check whether you are able to sync in no addin mode

There are no add-ins in the 'troubles' add-ins list
Run outlook in safe mode 'outlook /safe'
Disabled the antivirus/firewall

Not difference.

Additional info:
I have forwarded contact info from another account in two modes: business card and outlook contact.
The business card came through, the outlook contact did not synch to the desktop.

Appears to be (as per multiple blogs) an bug with Live mail

Since the problem did not get solved, I ended up switching to exchange 365 and now everything is working OK. (at a monthly cost)
