Exchange 2010 Generate NDR for Disabled User Account

I have a user account that I have disabled in Active Directory, however when external users still send e-mail to this account's e-mail address, they do not get a NDR.  I need to have it so when someone e-mails the user they get a bounce back/NDR message.  I would assume if I delete the mailbox this would occur, but I do not want to do that. Is there another way?

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Create Transport rule on the exchange server to  send a bounce back message  or create a outlook rule. Use the below link as guide line to create the rule
