Lotus notes email attachment issue
We receive Email with attachment from same sender:
I received the attachments in pdf but my colleague Eric received the attachment as winmail.dat.. Please advise on this.

Is Arcrobat PDF application installed on Eric's PC ?
Was this attachment sent from out side the company or from an internal user ?
What is lotus notes client version on both your PC and Eric's ?
What happens if you forward the email with the PDF attachment to him does he receive it as PDF or winmail.dat?

1. Is Arcrobat PDF application installed on Eric's PC ? yes. using pdf x-change pdf viewer as default
2. Was this attachment sent from out side the company or from an internal user ? is from outside (our consultant)
3. What is lotus notes client version on both your PC and Eric's ? how to confirm? mine is admin and his version is norm client

So far so good,,,, as a work around you can forward it to him .
- I think your consultant is the one having the problem if he uses MS exchange and this is know problem ,,, please forward this URL to your consultant and ask him for an action

But the problem is all my internal user and me no problem receive from the same sender ?

They said not their site issue ,because the use the same PC to send to different people in our company just is that particular person have issue only .
