SBS 2003 to 2011 Migration - Migrate mailboxes to new domain on SBS 2011

We are migrating a SBS 2003 server to an SBS 2011 server. Given that we have doubts about the system state on the SBS 2003 server, we have decided to build a new domain on the SBS 2011 and manually rebuild AD and migrate data from one to the other.

We have done this in the past and migrated mailboxes manually by exporting to a .pst, then importing to the new mailbox.

I am looking for a less manual method of migrating mailboxes from the old SBS 2003 domain/server to a new SBS 2011 domain/server. Any suggestions please?

That is the only option available to you with SBS. All other solutions require a trust, which you cannot do with SBS.

You may find some tools which will do the same job for you, but they aren't worth the money. If you setup the new server correctly the process is pretty simple anyway.

Agree with the above statement. The process was manual and did create slightly more work, but nothing to worry about.
