Why does my vmnic 1 show as a vlan?  i have not made any config changes since host install for it to be a vlan?

what problems will this cause?

the other host does not have vlan configured.

This information is Observed and often discovered from the physical switches its connected to.

VLAN 1 is often the default VLAN, which an un-configured switch, all the default physical ports are members of.

It will cause no issues.

I assume you are not using VLANs, so do not worry yourself!

If you were using VLAN tagging for the VMs, if would show in the vSphere Networking!

and it doesn't!
