I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

This information is Observed and often discovered from the physical switches its connected to.

VLAN 1 is often the default VLAN, which an un-configured switch, all the default physical ports are members of.

It will cause no issues.

I assume you are not using VLANs, so do not worry yourself!

If you were using VLAN tagging for the VMs, if would show in the vSphere Networking!

and it doesn't!
