Forcing Upgrade of Citrix Plug in via our website?

Hello Experts,

I am not a citrix person so this question should be easy for those that are.  Our citrix website prompts user to install the reciever if they do not have it but how do I change it, or where to change it to force them to update to the latest reciever?  There was one released in June 2013 that fixes a lot of our issues and I need to get our website to force it today.

I am thinking it's somewhere in our citrix gateway and still looking as I type this but figured I would ask here.

To answer thouroughly a few extra details would be helpful:

What version of Citrix / OS are you using (realise the topic says 2003) - the former is incredibly important as newer receivers won't work with older versions of Citrix XenApp/Presentation Server;

Do you happen to know if you're using a Citrix Web Interface? And if so which version?

Hello and thank you for responding.

We are on version 4.0, Enterprise Edition build 2198

The two presentation servers are server 2003
The Secure Gateway is installed on a 2008 server.

Yes we have a web interface, that is where I want to force the reciever update.  Currently if you log onto the page and you don't have it, it prompts you to download it but it's not prompting for the brand new version from citrix.

WE have been having a lot of issues with citrix and the new reciever has been tested and seems to be working a lot better and resolving a lot of those issues.....I hope it's compatible.  We have students that I need to get this pushed to today.

This has been resolved.  I had to add the update files to the proper directory to do the check.
