outlook 2010 bottleneck

at work i just upgraded a user from xp with office 2007 to win7 office 2010
now she is saying that outlook is running slow. so i was going to run the performance monitor to check for bottlenecks.
i don't run the perfmon much so i was wondering if there is a good set of things to monitor, and if it is possible to tailor the perfmon to look for bottlenecks in outlook.
any suggestions?

where the outlook has too many mails, it will run slow for few days as the windows service will index all data. check the status of indexation. once the indexation is completed it would work perfectly fine.
