Throttle bandwidth Sonicwall NSA220

My sonicwall is connected to a 100Mbs connection in a datacenter but we are only paying for 25Mbs and get charged high prices for over 25Mbs.

How can I throttle the overall bandwidth on the sonicwall NSA220, without doing any traffic shaping or prioritizing?  I just want to set the maximum input and maximum output to 12.5Mbs each.

Thanks.

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Hi gateguard,

The only way I know how to accomplish this is by traffic shaping via Bandwidth Management through the Egress & Ingress BWM interfaces. REF: https://www.fuzeqna.com/sonicwallkb/ext/kbdetail.aspx?kbid=6076

It will do exactly what you want it to. Why can you not do it this way...it's the preferred method?
