Desktop keeps logging off

I have a desktop running kiosk software that keeps logging off which I do not want it to do. This system should never lock or power off on it's own. This is a windows 7 OS. I've disabled auto updates, set power off and screen display to never. Am I missing something here? Shouldn't the event log capture the logoff or power down reset event?

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Is it really logged off or is the screen just locked?
Can you verify it did not reboot?

Even if you have no screen saver, "On resume, display logon screen" needs to be unchecked:
Right click the desktop, click "Properties", on the bottom right of the screen is the "Screen Saver" icon, click it and when it opens un-check the "On resume, display logon screen".

Make sure sleep is disabled, too
