Virtual Machine has the same do not have the same ip as my local network.

I`m using VMware, I have xp running,

the system works ok, but the network configuration I just cannot get fixed,

my local network ip is range: 192.168.1.1

and the ip I get when I logged into the VMware I get the ip range: 192.168.32.88....etc

I would like to know what do I have to do to get the same ip on my local network on the VMware?
