Virtual Machine has the same do not have the same ip as my local network.

I`m using VMware, I have xp running,

the system works ok, but the network configuration I just cannot get fixed,

my local network ip is range: 192.168.1.1

and the ip I get when I logged into the VMware I get the ip range: 192.168.32.88....etc

I would like to know what do I have to do to get the same ip on my local network on the VMware?

thanks

This is because you have setup your networking in the VM to NAT.

edit VM Settings, and change to BRIDGED, this will give your VM via DHCP the same IP Address Subetnetwork as your XP Host.
