Installation of XenServer 6.2 on HP DL380p-G8 4GB SD Card

Hi All,

We have bought XenServer 6.2 from Citrix website and was planning to install it on HP 380p G8 with 4 GB SD card.

Firstly it didn't recognised it then I did below tweak via "Shell":

vi /opt/xensource/installer/
And change "min_primary_disk_size = 3 #GB"

But still I get "hex() can not be converted into hex"

Please let me know if we are doing something wrong.

The SD Card needs to be 16GB, however here is a howto for XenServer 5.5 to work around that issue, may be applicable to 6.2 as well.

To update, the servers seems to work well in stand-alone mode with no issues on 16 SD cards. But when we join them to create a cluster. Both servers crashes out with no log entries over 2-3 days time. Checked with Citrix support they can not find any reasons and same with HP.
Have change Processor options, move SR dumps, compress and limit logs.. etc to no avail. Moved to 146 hard drive and now the cluster is working happily.

FYI, never had similar issues on ESXi.
