I have several PC's that we will be upgrading to Windows 7 Professional. I have ran the Windows 7 Upgrade Advisor for 64 bit on these machines and I see an "error" for:
Windows Aero support------ Your current graphics adapter won't support the Windows Aero user interface. If you want to experience the benefits of Windows Aero, contact your PC manufacturer or retailer to see if an upgrade is available.
I am not wanting to contact the manufacturer but try to "fix" myself. Is this something that has to be done AFTER the Windows 7 upgrade?
For example: One particular machine has NVIDIA GeForce 8400 GS and I have been on their website for upgrade. It says I have the most recent update. My driver details show Version 184.108.40.20696
And the NVIDIA GeForce 7100 / NVIDIA nForce 630i shows driver details being same version as above.
What do I need to do to correct the Aero error???
