Hyper-V 2008 Network Driver Install Help

I have a Poweredge R520 and I did manage to install Hyper-V, on the server, I plugged in both nic ports but I am unable to download updates, so I am assuming this is a driver issue,

Please help me figure out how to install these drivers - http://www.dell.com/support/drivers/us/en/555/DriverDetails/Product/poweredge-r520?driverId=7X45J&osCode=WS8R2&fileId=3214165615&languageCode=EN&categoryId=NI

I beleive it is those above, they are just the onboard ones, I download the zip file, move the Intel folder to a usb, but don't know what's next.

you have driver in zip format so unzip them and if they are in exe then use the 7zip and extract them to the USB.

go to the server and connect USB

open an elevated command prompt and type below command

it will open the device manager. From here navigate to the network adapter and expand select the adapter and right click and select the properties then go to the driver tab and click on the update driver option.

now select option "Browse my computer for driver software"
provide the full path of the driver (its your USB if you keep drivers in the USB)

click next

you have done.

let me know if stuck at any point.

I just found that this is a exe file which has setup so you have to run that setup on the server.

driver and its inf is included into the attachment.

(rename the attachment to .7z or .zip to extract it)

this should be the driver you need; 2008 x64/2008 R2/Hyper-V

should be automated windows installation and not have to go through device manager manually
