Can I add a 2008 DC to a 2003 server network during a migration of exchange 2003 to exchange 2010

I have  new server and it is 2008 I like to make a DC, will this affect anything during the migration of the Exchange servers?

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Hello,

There should be no issues but i would hold off on changing the domain to 2008 (R2?) Native until you get Exchange migrated.

You should be fine 2008 is supported with exchange 2010   http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ff728623(EXCHG.141).aspx

I'd probably get the 2008 up make sure everything is working/healthy then go to the next project (exchange)

Thanks
