Windows 2003 serverAd /prep
Hi, i have aproblem where i want to bring a windows 2008R2 server to an existing domain running windows 2003 server. Everytime i try to type Adprep in command prompt on my windows 2003 server , tell me that it do not recognize that command.
If it is 32 bit you need to run adprep32

that is what i am typing , it do not work. it says not recognized and batch syntax.

You need to put the 2008R2 DVD in the 2003 machine (if it autoruns, cancel it), and then run adprep (or Adprep32 if its a 32bit 2003 system), from the sources folder on the DVD.

I have copy the Adprep folder from 2008dvd onto c drive in windows2003 server.

now i get this error message access denied. i already checked to what groups i am a member off.
