Inserting JQuery Code

Hello All
  I am using Asp.net c# MVC and I just want to know where and how I enter JQuery code. I have a good book on Jquery but I am not sure where on the .cshtml page I put it. so if someone can just send me a help world I would appreciate it.

Please add it a script in the cshtml file:
<script src="@Url.Content("~/Scripts/jquery-1.5.1.min.js")"></script>
