Best power line adapters on the market?

you want something with pass through power - so you don't loose socket - more expensive though

Really, don't touch the PA211KIT adapters.  I've had 4 of them and they all lasted just over a year.  I managed to get one swapped under warranty after I kicked-off about the reliability of 4 of them, but I don't want any more!

While they worked they were great though apart from the odd time where they'd just drop off the network.  They're easy enough to reconfigure though so it was no drama - just inconvenient.

I bought a pair of D-Link Powerline AV 500 adapters and they're brilliant.  I plugged them in, changed the defaults, and I've never touched them since.

I'm beginning to regret buying any tp link kit.
It's all rubbish from what I ve experienced and now from what you are saying

also avoid TP-Link routers and L3 switches, even worse than D-Link. if for dumb hubs only, that should be OK.
