Better price than dropbox

We have 1.5 terabytes and only 2 people that need access in a small Engineering Office.  This makes Dropbox Enterprise solution a good option for storage in the cloud, but is a bit pricey at just under $800 per year.

Are there any cheaper options?

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Google drive and microsoft skydrive are less expensive for smaller amounts of storage but  Google drive is $100 monthly for 2 terabytes and skydrive does not offer that amount.

Dropbox uses amazon and Amazon's storage rates are $.095 per gig converting to about $140 per month for you.

It sounds like Dropbox is a good deal for you if you stay with a 3rd party service.

If you go your own, owncloud, btsync, and others will let you do it yourself for free. However you need to store it somewhere and back it up as well.

We are looking to get out of the data management business.  That is why dropbox works so well for us.

It appears to be the most cost effective thus far.

I only have purchased 100gigs for myself with dropbox. I did my own non scientific testing with dropbox, drive and skydrive and read up on a few others including owncloud.  For the small amount of data, dropbox was actually more expensive.  I eliminated skydrive because it can not sync up with as many devices such as linux.  I liked how dropbox worked seamlessly on my mac and after syncing up a test of 5 gigs of data, google drive missed a few files.   Again, this was not scientific and I probably had a bias for dropbox anyway.
