I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

If you have a crm that integrates into outlook, you could connect outlook to gmail and import contacts. Or you can export your gmail contacts as a csv and import them into whatever crm you want.

Can you explain more please? This is a very vague question

I'm really looking for a CRM that I could run on my own web host that would directly interface with and sync with my Gmail Contacts.  This way, if I hire a marketing person for instance, I can control access to my client base to some degree.

I'm not that familiar with open source crm, but google uses carddav for contacts so if you find one that supports carddav that should work.
