Unable to install Iphoto, Imovie in my newly formatted Imac Mountain 10.8
Dear All,
I have formatted my Imac which was running OS 10.7 and install Mountain Lion 10.8, when I go to my Itunes ( appe store ) I can see that My Iphoto, Imoview are listed and the status ( Update available ), when I click Update it asks me for my apple ID and password ( the one that I used before to purchase my software's) and then I click accept but it stays idle with no affects, kindly advise how fix this issue and install the Iphoto,etc..
Note: please note that I have fully updated my Imac OS and no updates available.
Thanks

Hi
No the application is not installed, its just saying update available and when you select update and type the account id that was used before nothing happened

Did you have iPhoto and iMovie installed under the older OSX 10.7? Did you purchase them in the AppStore or were they installed from a DVD or did they come pre-installed on the Mac?
If purchased in the App Store you should be able to re-download and install the Apps.
However if you did not purchase them in the App Store you will have to re-install them from the original source DVD or wherever you got them as AppStore can only update in that case.
If the apps are showing in the Purchased section and say INSTALLED .. you can force the re-download of the app .. follow these steps
Open the App Store application. (It's on the Dock, or in the Applications folder.)
Hold down the Option key and click Purchases.
An Install button now appears next to the missing application.
Click Install.

Have a look at the Purchases list in App Store.
It should say Install or Installed next to your apps.
