Try running chrome in no plugin mode ...if this works then problem is caused by faulty extn or plugins. Disable unwanted plugins<br />

I am having trouble saving changes to any article in Joomla 1.7 using Google Chrome (Version 29.0.1547.66 m). &nbsp;The save and the save &amp;&nbsp;close buttons are not working, only the cancel button. &nbsp; In an effort to troubleshoot, I logged in to Joomla from a different computer using my credentials and didn't have any issue editing content and saving changes using Chrome.<br />

I've cleared Chrome browser cache, cookies. &nbsp; I've also uninstalled and reinstalled Chrome. &nbsp;I've rolled back to older versions, but nothing seems to work.<br />

I've ran CCleaner, Malyware bytes too.<br />

My OS is Windows 8 Professional.<br />
