Issues with booking a room

Hi Experts,

I have an user that booked a meeting room for 09:15 am and did get a confirmation of acceptance. This users explains that she has noticed that the room is now booked by someone else at same time

Troubleshooting steps taken so far:

-Requested user to forward me the confirmation email
-Attached confirmation email of accepted booking of room
-Referred to Calendar and located room XXXX
-Confirmed room is book by another client,

Any ideas?

Our environments as per below

2 CAS/HUB Exchange 2010 VMs one for each datacenter

2 MBX/UM Exchange 2010 HyperV VMs for each DC

Windows 2008 R2 ent edition OS version

Outlook 2010 latest SP email client version

No public folders

Is the meeting still on the user's calendar, what if they resend?

Will the room account auto accept even if there is a conflict? If not, someone must have deleted the original meeting. Check permissions on the resource calendar.
