Hi,

DCDIAG not removed in 2008 server. It's same as 2003 server. Only netdiag and replmon been removed in 2008 environment.

When you type dcdiag /fix or just dcdiag and if this doesn't show any results. It's definitely the support tool wouldn't have installed on the server. This can be installed from the 2nd Windows DVD or can be downloaded from net.

I hope this helps.

Dcdiag is built into Windows Server 2008 R2 and Windows Server 2008. It is available if you have the Active Directory Domain Services (AD DS) or Active Directory Lightweight Directory Services (AD LDS) server role installed. It is also available if you install the Active Directory Domain Services Tools that are part of the Remote Server Administration Tools (RSAT).
