Exchange 2007 Mailbox Restore
Hi
i need to restore a mailbox iof a person who left the company a while ago.
i did follow the following.
http://www.symantec.com/connect/articles/how-restore-exchange-2007-mailbox-store-tape-using-backup-exec-12
http://www.trainsignal.com/blog/exchange-server-2007-recovery
but it wont pick up any mailboxes inside the RSG ?
i then checked backup exec and it restored 28gb into the RSG successfully
i then ran a powershell command and see the following. only 2.02mb in size for the RSG
any ideas what to do ?

ok iam busy doing that
as per your link it shows that you must use the view by resource tab ?
i need to restore the old data that was stored on the 2 tapes below on the view by media.
and per your link it shows to use view by resource?
i can see the exchange and the correct db but the dates are incorrect ?

No Problem its ok, it depends on setting of dates, so not to worry, just go ahead and select what you are looking for and update us
You can also select from media if you remember the media name to which you backed up.

still nothing.
i restarted exchange server , restarted backup server , disabled anti virus...
now when i restore i only get the following 696 bytes with a successful. :S
must the RSG be mounted or dismounted when doing the restore ? will backup exec delete the files after restore ? (i did put the write lock on the tape)
