"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Has it suddenly stopped working? The error would indicate SSL? Have you purchased a certificate, and is it in date?
Nick RhodeIT DirectorCommented:
Do you have a certificate installed on the server?  Is it missing the url in the cert?
edsexpertAuthor Commented:
This is a new Exchange 2010 server that has a cert installed
Simon Butler (Sembee)ConsultantCommented:
Do you have a trusted SSL certificate installed? The error means what it says, it cannot establish a trusted session, which would indicate a problem with the SSL certificate.

The self signed certificate that Exchange puts in place during the installation is not supported for use with ActiveSync and needs to be replaced with a trusted certificate
