IIS 7 URL Re-Write PDF to HTML

I have a PDF in a directory:
http://www.mydomain.com/files/pdf/news/2011_Dec_News.pdf

When clicked, I want to re-direct to:

http://www.mydomain.com/news.html

I tried writing URL Rules but I cannot get it to work. High points for a speedy solution!

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

(Note, my IIS is in portuguese and translation may not match exactly)

Open your IIS Manager
Find the application/directory where your file is located
Right-click it and select "Switch to content view"
Find your file and select it
Right-Click it and select "switch to resources view"
On your resources view, double-click "HTTP Redirect"
Check the first checkbox and fill the redirect destination below with "http://www.mydomain.com/files/pdf/news/2011_Dec_News.pdf"
Check the second checkbox and apply
