DMP2012 - Removing agent from a proctected Server

ProServer1 was being protected by DPMserver1, run out space and moved ProServer1 to DPMserver2
Unable to protected in DPMserver2 Getting error Cannot create a protection group: "DPM cannot access the path..."

Is dpmserver1 in a protection group on dpmserver2?

Yes DPMServer1 is ina protection group with DPMserver2.   DPMserver1 is out space - need to move ProSever1 to DPMServer2 - Removed agent, rebooted, installed Client from DPMserver2 - but can not put it on protection.
