clearing a div so it goes in the flow of the webpage

hi all.

I have an image slider that is not clearing on firefox but is on google chrome. The content below it is covering it so it looks like its not loading in.

I've tried using a clearfix but its not clearing it.

please take a look at and tell me how i can clear the image slider so it goes in the flow of the webpage.

thank you.

You have a problem with your jQuery, so the slider doesn't show up at all in firefox. Nothing shows up in IE! and it looks OK in Chrome. Fix your javascript first and the rest may sort itself out - if not post back and I'll take a look.

hi it works in FF its just hidden behind the 3 cols below.

There a blank div around the image slider. if i edit the html in firebug and add a random style="" to the blank div then it will show up.

am at a-loss after this point.

i have used the image slider on many sites so i dont see how i could have just messed up its javascript as i dont mess with those files just the view layer to echo each image out into it.

i know the console shows missing hand.cur but i have never had a problem with this error before on other sites.

am not sure what the other erros mean:

Hmmm. I can get it to work, but only if I resize my browser after your page has loaded. And then it all looks fine.

When I first load your site, the slider exists in the DOM but has a lot of the inner elements set to height of 0 so I can't see it at all. It's not sat behind anything - it just doesn't have a height. I'm guessing that something in the responsive design will set the dimensions dynamically, but for some reason it's not firing when the page first loads.

I still think this is a Javascript issue and not a float clearing issue.
