SBS2008 Sharepoint Config Log no disk space
We have recently taken over a client with almost no space left on the c: drive (11GB) where the system is, and almost no space on the d: drive (21GB) where the company data and sharepoint database is held.
i need to free up some space and the sharepoint config logs are 23GB which would be nice to have, to buy me some time.
i've the researched the routine - and it's pretty straight forward - BUT i dont have enough space to store the backups on any available Disks
Can i just run the DBCC SHRINKFILE (N'Sharepoint_Config_log'5 0) command ?
i know it's a bit risky, but im running out of space and time
Thanks
Murray
