Active Sync Virtual Directory Missing - exchange 2003

Hi,

We have 2 exchange all in one role and one exchange front end server. all are exchange 2003. Users in MBX01 are able to configure their mail in phones, but users in MBX2 are unable to configure their mails in phone. outlook and OWA access is fine. when I check , the active sync virtual directory was not there and found some other unwanted websites configured. (Attached is the screen shot) I think this might be the reason why users in MBX2 are unable to configure mails in their mobile devices. can I create only active sync directory ? or I need to re create all virtual directories? Also pls let us know the steps to do the same.

One more thing all are connecting to frontend server to access mails, but still active sync virtual directory required in backend server?

Hi Marshalhubs,

Here it mentioned to delete all VI first and then restart services ....

Is it possible only to create one virtual directory without deleting all?

Thanks

This is same as MS KB 883380, to remove all Virtual directory and recreate. But I want a procedure to recreate only one virtual directory - active sync
