Thanks for your question.

What do you mean 'with office 365'?

Does this user have a different email domain address than everybody else? Is there email hosted with office 365?

If this is a new Office 365 subscription it comes with Microsoft Office 2013 (Outlook 2013). Outlook 2013 will not connect to an Exchange 2003 server (SBS 2003). This is by design. You could connect using POP3/IMAP but that wouldn't be ideal. In this case either they need Office 2010 or earlier to connect to Exchange 2003 or you will need to create the mailbox itself in Office 365 and setup forwarding between the servers.

Just to confirm, Office 2013 is not compatible with Exchange 2003 - if this is what you are asking?
