VFP vfpconnection close

Hello everyone. I'm utilizing vfpconnection.fll and I was hoping someone here that's familiar with it could tell me how to close a connection once it's no longer needed.

It appears that once I have initiated the connection it remains open until it eventually times out, but this behavior is causing issues with other FTP clients trying to connect to the server at the same time.

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Craig Boyd uses libcurl and that does handle connections in a pooling, caching way, over which users (including him) have no influence. You should ask him directly, if he can do anything. There are some libcurl options I see about number of connections, which can't be set in vfpconnection.fll.

Bye, Olaf.
