how to reclaim free space in exchange

ive deleted about 20GB worth of data from my exchange database, but in the past 2 days, i havent seen increase in free space. how can i get taht free space without having to use the command "eseutil" ?

The only other way to get this free space is to create a new database, move everyone to it and delete the old database. Otherwise the space you just freed up is considered white space in the database. you can check it using a powershell command:
Get-MailboxDatabase -Status | Sort-Object Name | Format-Table Name, DatabaseSize, AvailableNewMailboxSpace

If you just deleted mailboxes and you have a retention period then the whitespace will not show up until your retention time runs out. You can simply turn this down over night and in the morning you will see additional white space.

Yes I agree with Zindel1, If whitespace is generated in your exchange database after retention period, movement of mailboxes from one database to another is the best option to claim reclaim the free space.
