Best way to capture audio and video

We have a video that has audo and video and fly out bullets to the side of the video.

Our videos are hosted on another site that serves up our bullet flyouts, etc.

We want to have a non-internet version of some of the videos with the flyout bullets so the salesmen can demonstrate anywhere without internet.

What is the best way to capture an existing video with sound, etc?

Our video department tried capturing the frame around the video and bullets along with the sound and they said it sounded awful.

Is there a product that would do an excellent job of capturing not only the video and bullets, but also the sound too?

thanks!

Hi,

Try to use this...
http://download.cnet.com/FLV-com-FLV-Downloader/3000-13633_4-75323750.html

Paste the URL from the site the video is located then it will automatically pick up the FLV (Adobe flash video) video and you can download it locally onto your PC.

You can also install Realplayer (include the browser video downloader)

Flash can be still played in a browser without a server if you are just wanting that part of it.

I said there are bullet points that are displayed periodically during the video, to the side of the video. Therefore I need those as well, so I want to record the video with the bullet points.

So back to my question, I want to find a tool that allows me to record a section of my screen and the audio and video from it.

Outside of the flash?  How are they being activated.
The only reason you need an actual server is if you are processing php etc.
You can use js, css, html straight in the browser

Can we please not second guess my question and help me to find an answer to the question itself? Again, the current host is serving up bullet points periodically on timers throughout the video. We will not have that functionality without the internet, so I need to record it happening, so I can display it for the demos.

I need a method that will allow me to video record a video, sound, and other things happening on the screen.

thanks!

If the sound is still terrible you might need to loop the sound from the headphone jack into the mic jack.
