ERROR_NO_SUCH_DOMAIN

Dear,

I have one issue about nltest. I have one server 2008 R2 running DC with all roles of FSMO.

When run the command

C:\Windows\system32>nltest /sc_reset:domain1\adds1
I_NetLogonControl failed: Status = 1355 0x54b ERROR_NO_SUCH_DOMAIN

Show the ERROR_NO_SUCH_DOMAIN

I don´t understand the error, because the DC is running very well without problems.

Why I haven't been gotten the name of server  ?

Follow the result dcdiag

I_NetLogonControl failed: Status = 1355 0x54b ERROR_NO_SUCH_DOMAIN is a known issue when you run NLTest pointing to PDC or on PDC. You can ignore it.

Coming to KDC error, check eventviewer for KDC event ID 27 you can ignore this as well if there is no Smart Card usage in your network.

As you are sure about DC's health I would say ignore both the errors. However as you are using Server 2008, I'm sure Windows Time Server is not pointing to external source and itslef is not acting as authoritative time server. Use below link to correct it.

Authoritative Time Server

Note: always run DCDiag in verbose mode like this to avoid Systemlog for better understanding: dcdiag /v /skip:systemlog
