outlook clients can't access exchange 2010 fresh install

fresh install of exchange 2010 coexisting with exchange 2003 deployment...move a test account from the 2003 server to 2010 and OWA works but can't get the outlook client to attach to the exchange 2010 server, SP3 is applied. ran all the connectivity tests and they are passing just unsure where to look from here.

Thanks in advance

Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

What error messages are you receiving when trying to connect?

Which versions of Outlook are you trying to connect with?

Can the client resolve both the internal and external URLs for the Exchange server?

Thanks for your prompt response but I found this KB Article that helped me connect when I added the Encryption checkmark in the outlook profile but now I'm having issues setting up the iPhone's to attach to the new exchange server I can browse to it via safari and login but it's not making the connection via the mail app...should I just remove the encryption services via RPC?

Did that without any luck...I can hit the address https://servername/Microsoft-Server-ActiveSync and log in but I get an message "The page cannot be displayed because the HTTP version is not supported." which I'm thinking is fine but trying to create the profile from my iPad via the internal WiFi connection and it doesn't want to connect just keeps saying "Unable to verify account information"

Issue resolved just needed time to replicate throughout the DNS internal and external servers...no other tweaking was needed and RPC encryption is still enabled.
