Exchange 2010 Error When Selecting Server Configuration in EMC

Hello,

I have installed Exchange 2010 SP3 on a clean install of server 2012 that will be used only for Exchange.  There is already an exchange 2003 server in the domain.  I followed Microsoft's deployment guide on the initial installation and setup of the CAS role and got hung up while adding the digital certificate.  I have posted a picture of the error I get when I try to access the Server Configuration inside the EMC.

Thanks!

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

This is usually because you're logged in with an account that does not have the required Exchange administration permissions.

In AD, add the logged in user account to the group "Organization Management" (in the OU [your-domain]\Microsoft Exchange Security Groups)

Logout and login, then give it another try.

Hello,

Thank you very much for these two responses.
My user account is already added to the "Organization Management" group.  I checked through the links provided by sushil84 and everything looks good in respect to that information.

Anything else I can try?

Thanks!
