2 LAN ports - can I divide their tasks? 1 for internet one for LAN

I have a stand alone terminal server.. It has 2 LAN ports. I am currently getting internet and serving terminals through the same port. How can I route internet through the other port? I would Like to do this:

                              / PORT 1 - WAN
TERMINAL SERVER
                              \ PORT 2 LAN

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

This would be easy if your internet is on a different ip range. You can set the ip address and gateway on port 1 and set your lan ip address on port 2 with no gateway. Since port 2 is intended for LAN only, your server will automatically use port 1 for internet.
