Vmware Virtual Machine disk consolidation is needed after every VDR backup

We are running ESXI 5.1 build 1117900 and everytime we backup one of our Windows 2008 R2 servers we have to remove the virtual disk (that was created from the snapshot) from the VDR machine and run consolidation on the server it was backing up.  We are using VDR 2.0.1 and can't use VDP because it won't let us choose not to backup Mapped Raw LUN.
Thanks

1. Clear the VM of all snapshots.

2. Restart the VDR appliance.

3. Check the integrity or VDR, and you may need to rollback checkpoints.

I've done one and two and the integrity check but it still does it. So for the rollback on checkpoints is this done on the command line?

Rollback of Checkpoints, is done by connecting to the VDR appliance directly and logging in via Web Interface.

Watch this video to see how easy it is to make mass changes to Active Directory from an external text file without using complicated scripts.

I logged into the Web Interface and can't seem to find the rollback feature.

So this is the older Appliance ?

VMware Data Recovery and not VMware Data Protection?

Sorry misread, there is no checkpoint in VDR, this was VDP only. Sorry wrong product.

VDR job is not completing correctly, it should remove itself from the appliance, and close the snapshot.

Can you check if you can Manually Create a Snapshot, with Quiese option ticked, and after 60 seconds Delete the Snapshot?
