1. I have created a centos virtual machine with a 100GB drive. When I run out of space - can I simply increase the size of the Drive?

2. I can remote desktop. But once I exit I have to reboot the machine in order to come back in. Otherwise it says "connection refused"

Regarding 2 - I think the issue is that I get a different address from the dhcp. How can I fixed the network address IP?

regarding 1: I get the error: you need the root access to perform this operation. But I am logged in as root. How can I check?

To check what user you are logged in as, issue command:

whoami

How are you connecting to your CentOS? Which remote desktop application is what I mean.

Sorry for the late response. I am using the VNC remote viewer to make the successful connection. It seems that I am only able to connect when I am logged on to the machine. But when I am logged out I cannot connect.
