What is the best solution to unify storage arrays?

Hello experts,

We have 2 storage EMC VNX 5300 , one storage HP and one storage IBM.

I am looking for the best solutions to unifiy storage arrays from different constructors. We want to  to create volumes, manage my storage from only one single web interface.

I have heard about IBM Storwize V7000 with IBM Real-time Compression , but I am looking for the best one.

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Might be worth looking at SAN Symphony from DataCore, It doesn't actually manage the separate SANs but if you give it space from each one it will consolidate them into one big virtual SAN.

Ah the holy grail of storage management, being able to provision multi-vendor storage through a single pane of glass. Thats SDS (Software Defined Storage) and we are not quite there yet.

As Andy has already said Software like SAN Symphony and StorAge and hardware like IBM's V7000 offer that kind of facility ie Virtual Storage.
