Help Desk solutions for medium sized business

I've read some of the emails about suggestions for help desk software, but they seem to be mostly for larger organizations.  We are a local government with 2 domains, and about 200 users.  We are looking for a help desk solution.  We don't need a lot of bells and whistles.  Mostly just logging service calls, assigning them, etc.  We would like something that users can enter a call themselves, and a mobile app would be great.  AD integration would be a must also.  

Anyone have any suggestions?

I have been using smartertrack for myself for a long time.  Prior to moving to google apps, I also used to use smartermail and smarter stats is a very nice web stats package.

There is a free trial.  The only downside, is the knowledge base has never been that great.  I have used other large sites that use smartertrack and never had much luck with the knowledge base but that is probably based more on the people setting it up.

Thanks for the reply.  Did you go with the online version, or in-house?  I think we'd prefer to keep it in house, linked with our AD.

Sorry I didn't reply to your last question, I didn't seem to get a notif for it.
I haven't use the program myself, I just remember seeing that question about the same time as you posted yours, on the subject.
