SSIS job not executing an exe file

Hoping that someone has had this come up before..

Problem:  Attempting to execute an exe through an SSIS job but having a permissions issue.

The SSIS Windows service and SQL Server Agent are using a service account which is a member of a group that is a member of the local admin group on the server.
When logged in I can run the .exe without a problem.
When creating a proxy user under SSIS Package Execution I can run the job without a permissions error.
I do not have login information for the service account.

Any ideas?

Simply put if the SQL Server Agent account does not have the required permissions or you are using a mapped drive to execute the app, then you are going to continue to get a permission error.

Try granting "everyone" Read&Execute access to the .exe  Does the .exe access any other files that may be throwing the access denied error?  (EG: writing to a network path or something?)
Create an account for SSIS (and Agent) jobs that will need that and similar permissions and use that ID.
Don't forget that you'll maybe need not just execute permission but also maybe read/write wherever the .exe reads and write to, which might be a complete other machine!

The read/write is set correctly.  Granting 'everyone' control is not an option.  We think we have a work around for now.  I will repost if it works.
