SSRS deploy fails a connection could not be made to the report server

Hi, I am running Windows 7 Ultimate, SQL server 2008R2, VS2010. I am logged on to a network domain.  The DB,VS2010, etc are all installed on my loacl machine.
I have configured SSRS report server as per installation instructions.  I'm walking through tutorial to build a new report model.  When I go to deploy, I get the error - a connection could not be made to the report server http://ATLDEV/ReportServer_2008R2. I have research online and have tried everything I have found regarding permissions to no avail.

If I paste the URL into a browser window, I get msg User 'ATL\ITMD' (this is my network id) does not have required permissions. Verify that sufficient permissions have been granted and Windows User Account Control (UAC) restrictions have been addressed.  However, if I run IE as adminstration, paste in the URL, I successfully connect to the report server.

My question is how can I resolve the connection failure from within BID when I try to deploy.  Obviously, I do have a report server, and I do have permission once I start IE as an adminstartor.  So what is stopping me from doing the deply from BID?

After exhausive research, I found that the TargetServerURL property of the BID project was incorrect.  The TargetServerURL was http://ATLDEV:80/ReportServer_2008R2 but the service name was http://ATLDEV:80/ReportServer_SQL2008R2.  I looked at this for 2 days until I finally saw the discrepency.  The answer was staring me in the face all the time.

I'm going to close the question.
