How can I get mp4 video from a drive to my iPad?

I make videos for Vimeo and YouTube from adobe CS5. I can make the files small enough but I can't seem to Get it in to my iPad. I tried to use Dropbox but it will save in Dropbox folder and play on the iPad but I don't see where I can save it somewhere on my iPad

How about using Itunes?

How large is the file?

How much room you have left on your ipad?  16 gb or 32 gb ipad?

Check usage in settings

I looked at iTunes briefly but couldn't figure it out.  I have the 16  with about 4 gig left. It's a smaller file. Should fit

You should be able to open iTunes import the file to load it on the iPad.  In iTunes, select File, Add file to library and browse out to your video file.  This will import the video into iTunes and by default it should go to the iPad when it is connected.
