"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

This says you don't have enough physical memory (RAM) or may be insufficient disk space as well.

Could you tell us know how much RAM and disk space you have on the system you are trying to install Oracle?

Also, click on more details hyperlink and provide this info as well.

Since you are installing in a virtual machine, shut it down and change memory to 2Gb and start it again. Your host machine should have 4Gb at  least (or your host will slow down probably).
