Dual Boot Linux and Windows

I need to download Linux Centos image, copy it to a flash drive and boot from it to install Linux Centos, then configuring in such a way that when I restart the computer , it should give the option to select between Windows 7 and Linux Centos.

I believe this can be possible. Correct ?
if so please provide me with link to download  Centos image and some help on how to configure the dual boot.

Any help will be very much appreciated,

Thank you

Do you have unpartitioned space to install the new operating system onto?
There is a complete walk through available at http://www.techotopia.com/index.php/CentOS_6_Essentials

Do you need instructions on how to copy an .iso onto a USB Drive?

Is a dual boot really required for your setup? If not then you could think about running CentOS in a virtual environment like VMware Player or Oracle VM Virtual Box.
Yes, you can have Anaconda (the fedora/CentOS installer) add a GRUB menu to let you choose when booting, but that could prevent future service packs from installing (at least it prevented SP1 from installing... I kinda doubt Microsoft will change that behavior)... so, better to follow  gerwinjansen's suggestion to mount a VM when you want to use it. That should be faster than rebooting, anyway.
