Windows 2012 Server Image Build

Hi everyone,
I hope this finds you all well and you can assist.
Guys, we are busy trying to develop a windows 2012 server image.
Im trying to get as much information as possible on server build processes.
I would like some help on what you guys do with regards to distributing your server image.
For example,

q) what stuff do you put in your image and what don't you
q) what size is your final image
q) what disk image format do you guys use as your build format
q) what utility or process do you use to extract the build
q) what process do you use to distribute your image around the world

Any help greatly appreciated.
