I am the sole IT person for an SME running HP hardware.
Our IT system was installed by a external provider, it includes an HP P2000 G3 SAN unit with 24 drives and another enclosure with 8 drives.
One of those drives has now failed and I have replaced it, however in the web management utility for the SAN I now have
30 drives listed as VDISK
1 drive listed as GLOBALSP
1 drive (the newly replaced one) listed as AVAIL
I'm assuming that this means that the new drive hasn't been added to the storage space available to my users.
I have no idea how to add it, and don't want to wipe anything out by getting it wrong!
Could someone with more knowledge than me take me through a step-by step please!
