HP OFFICEJET PRO 8500A

Hi I have HP OFFICEJET PRO 8500A , I have connected the printer with my sysem ( having windows 7 ) with USB cable .
and configured a scanning option . sometimes when I click on printer screen and scan option I cannot se my PC name . then I have to restart my pc .
as it gives this error as
" on pc click the printer -properties-scanner action and activate scan to computer " option in the printer software on your computer properties ".

but sometimes PC name appears .

I have updated the firmware and also the driver of the printer but still issue exists , kindly provide me the full featured software also .

Reset printer to factory defaults and check.

Touch the Setup icon.
Scroll to and touch Tools .
Scroll to and touch Restore Factory Defaults . A Defaults Restored message displays.
Press the Cancel button to return to the main menu.

Restart pc and check
